Drop Off / Pick Up Procedures
Parents that transport students to and from school must obey all safety and traffic flow regulations and guidelines. The speed limit in our school parking lot is 5 mph. It’s crucial to be aware of your surroundings and drive at a safe speed, be mindful of other vehicles, pedestrians, and potential hazards like cars backing out of parking spaces, and always yield to pedestrians.
For the safety of our students, Ramona Junior High School asks that all drop off and pick up traffic enter through the north gates on Walnut Avenue, travel south through the parking lot as indicated in the map below and exit out onto the corner of Gettysburg and Wright Avenue. We have two traffic lanes. The lane closest to the office is designated the drop off and pick up lane, the other is the passing lane. Please avoid changing lanes during student drop off / pick up. Student drop off / pick up from the passing lane is not permitted.
