Halloween Costume Guidelines

Posted Date: 10/29/25 (8:12 AM)

Halloween is coming up this Friday, so we wanted to make sure our families are aware of the costume guidelines that have been shared with our students. Please read through the guidelines below.

Students are allowed to dress up for Halloween this year. In order to have a safe and successful Halloween, we ask that students wear costumes that promote positive behavior and adhere to the dress code guidelines outlined in the Ramona Parent and Student Handbook. Please avoid the following: costumes that might create hatred or poke fun at any ethnic group or beliefs, no blood, gore, violence, weapons, political, or costume masks. Inflatable costumes are allowed, but only if they do not cover your face.  Students will not be able to wear inflatable costumes in the classroom as they will not fit in our desks. So please make sure your student is aware they will need to deflate before and during class. If you have questions regarding Halloween costumes, please ask any school administrator. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Have a safe and Happy Halloween.

Thank you for your support and cooperation in providing our students the opportunity to have some fun in a safe manner! Also, as a reminder, Friday, October 31st, is a minimum day.

Sincerely,

Lisa Sura
