Preparing for a Successful School Year at Ramona

Welcome to the new school year! We are excited to partner with you as we prepare our students for a successful year of learning, growth, and achievement. At Ramona Junior High School, we believe that academic success is built on strong habits, including preparation, responsibility, and organization. Students who are organized are more likely to stay engaged, meet deadlines, and reach their academic goals.

While California law restricts schools and teachers from requiring families to purchase classroom supplies, we encourage families, if they are able, to support their student's success by helping them start the year with the personal school supplies that promote organization and preparedness.

Recommended Student Supplies

• Backpack
• 1–2 inch binder
• Pencil pouch
• Pencils and erasers
• Blue or black pens
• Highlighters (multiple colors)
• College-ruled notebook paper
• Spiral notebooks (one per subject, if desired)
• Colored pencils or markers
• Glue sticks

Please note that no student will be excluded from any educational activity due to an inability to provide these items. If your family needs assistance obtaining school supplies, please contact the school office. We are committed to ensuring that every student has access to the resources necessary to participate fully in their education.
