We warmly invite you to attend an important English Learner Parent Meeting scheduled to take place on:

As the parent or guardian of an English Learner, you are one of the most important partners in your child's education. This meeting will provide essential information about your child's educational program, language development, academic progress, and opportunities to be involved in school decision-making.
 
During this meeting, we will discuss:

• What Every Parent of an English Learner Needs to Know
• The purpose and role of the English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) and the District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)
• Election of English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) Members and District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) representative
• 2026-2027 ELAC Meeting Dates
• Understanding ELPAC Scores
• Student Reclassification, and
• The Uniform Complaint Procedures (UCP)

 
The meeting provides an excellent opportunity to learn about your child's educational program, ask questions, share your ideas, and become involved in decision-making processes that support English Learner students. We value your partnership and hope you will join us for this important meeting. Together, we can ensure that every English Learner receives the support needed to thrive academically and socially.
